Mumei Juku is a small private dojo located next to the owners home in the beautiful Brittany countryside.

5th Dan in Wado Ryu Karate-do,
3rd Dan in Iai-do
3rd Dan in Jodo
The classes at Mumei Juku are small, friendly, but formal. The student through hard training will come to understand the ideas of respect and mutual courtesy.
The dojo is part of the Shikukai Karate-Do International, headed byF. Sugasawa Renshijun Shihan 7th Dan.
The main art taught by Stephen is Traditional Japanese
Wado-Ryu
Karate-Do.
Stephen also belongs to the British Kendo Association and the European Kendo Federation, and teaches:-
Zen Nippon Kendo Renmei Seitei Iai-do Gata (drawing and cutting using a Japanese sword).
The koryu of Muso Shinden Ryu Iai-do ( old style drawing and cutting using a Japanese sword).
Zen Nippon Kendo Renmei Seitei Jo-do Gata (4ft stick against a wooden sword)
